Is there anything I am not doing right? Do I need to buy a 4k blu ray player and 4k blu ray discs? IS there a difference in atmos data in streaming vs regular blu ray disc vs 4k blu ray disc? But the same sound quality I was not able to find on other atmos movies in either streaming or using blu rya discs.
My question is are all the atmos blu ray discs not made equal?Īs mentioned above the youtube video "Amaze" is PCM input and using the "Dolby surround" post-processor decoder in the yamaha receiver the sound quality is incredible.i could hear rain and thunder coming from overhead clearly. The youtube video "Amaze" in Dolby sounds truly incredible in the home setup using 5.1.2 configuration with yamaha rx-A870 receiver, JBL ARC30 as fron left/right and Energy Take Classic satellites as surround and overhead speakers.īut I am yet to feel encapsulated by sound quality from movies while streaming or from blu ray discs.
